The proceeds of the issue will primarily be used to exploit existing opportunities for internal upgrading of the property portfolio and to make new acquisitions, the real estate fund says. "With the inflowing funds, we will be able to expand the fund's portfolio, which is focused on residential properties, in a targeted manner, thereby further increasing the attractiveness of the Immofonds for investors," says Gabriela Theus, managing director of Immofonds Asset Management AG.

The capital increase was carried out from October 7 to October 16, 2020 by way of a public rights offering. With a subscription ratio of 11:1, 292,629 new fund units were issued at a subscription price of CHF 352.00 net each. As a result, there are now around 3.5 million fund units in circulation. The new units are fully entitled to distributions for the 2020/2021 financial year. (ah)
