Swiss Life AM appoints Head of ESG Real Assets
Valérie de Robillard is the new Head of ESG Real Assets at Swiss Life Asset Managers and will be responsible for driving the ESG strategy of the company's real estate and infrastructure activities.

Valérie de Robillard will be responsible for coordinating ESG policy across Europe and integrating it into the product and service offering, Swiss Life Asset Managers says. She will work both in Paris and Zurich, reporting to Nelufer Ansari, Head ESG at Swiss Life Asset Managers, and will be part of the ESG Board.
Valérie de Robillard has been Head of Sustainability/CSR at Nexity for the past four years, and before that was a partner for eight years at Utopies, a consultancy and think tank focused on sustainable development strategies. There, she assisted French and international companies in CSR reporting and innovation projects, as well as in marketing. De Robillard was also a board member of the Observatoire de l'Immobilier Durable (OID).
In France, the Swiss Life Group initiated ESG engagement in the real estate teams as early as 2009. In 2018, the Group introduced the UNPRI and GRSEB standards for all entities. In 2019, Swiss Life Asset Managers launched a European team led by Nelufer Ansariwhich deals with the subject area of ESG and currently has seven employees. (ah)
