LUKB acquires a stake in Fundamenta Group
Luzerner Kantonalbank LUKB and Fundamenta Group Holding have agreed on a cooperation. At the same time, the bank is taking a 30% stake in the real estate company.
The strategy is to expand real estate asset management for private and institutional real estate owners, and the new collaboration will give Luzerner Kantonalbank clients easier access to Fundamenta Group's services, the company said. LUKB is a leader in real estate financing in the canton of Lucerne and has a client base with above-average real estate assets, it said.
As part of the cooperation, LUKB is taking a 30% stake in Fundamenta Group Holding AG, based in Zug. A representative of the bank is to join the board of directors. Fundamenta emphasizes that the independence of the companies will be preserved in every respect. (ah)
