New CEO for Allianz Suisse Real Estate

Allianz Suisse Immobilien AG has appointed Hendrik David, Head of Real Estate Switzerland at AFIAA, as CEO from 1 February 2021. David succeeds Martin Kaleja, who is moving to Swiss Prime Site Immobilien AG as CEO.

Change at the top of Allianz Suisse Immobilien AG: Hendrik David will take the helm at the Allianz Suisse subsidiary as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on February 1, 2021. His predecessor Martin Kaleja will become CEO at real estate company Swiss Prime Site Immobilien.

Hendrik David (45), a dual German-Swiss citizen, has been Head of Real Estate Switzerland at AFIAA Real Estate Investment AG since 2015 and is also a member of the Executive Board. From 2011 to 2015, he was Deputy Head of the Purchase/Sale Team at Swisscanto Asset Management AG Switzerland, and before that he was Head of Project Development for "The Circle" at Flughafen Zürich AG and Associate Manager at PwC Corporate Finance Real Estate. David graduated in architecture from the ETH in Zurich and holds a Master of Accounting & Finance from the University of St. Gallen.

Especially in the current low interest rate environment, "real estate with attractive returns" is an important part of Allianz's investment strategy.
