Swiss Life AM: Marie Seiler new Head Real Estate Portfolio Management

Marie Seiler will take over the position of Head Real Estate Portfolio Management of the investment business for third-party clients in Switzerland at Swiss Life Asset Managers during the first half of 2021. Seiler will report directly to Renato Piffaretti, Head Real Estate Switzerland and will be based in Zurich. "I am very pleased that with Marie Seiler we have gained a proven and experienced expert as Head Real Estate Portfolio Management of the investment business for third-party clients. She brings a lot of knowledge and experience in the real estate investment business," says Renato Piffaretti.

Seiler joins from PwC Switzerland, where she has been a partner since 2019 and has led the Real Estate Advisory team in Zurich and Geneva since 2014. Prior to that, she was responsible for the Real Estate Advisory team in Basel and Zurich for four years. Seiler began her professional career in 2005 as a consultant at PwC Switzerland in Basel. She holds a degree in economics from Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, and is a CFA Chartered Financial Analyst.

Swiss Life is the owner of the largest privately held real estate portfolio in Switzerland. Assets under management amount to CHF 35.6 billion as of 30.6.2020, including CHF 7.3 billion for third-party clients in Switzerland. (bw)
