Adrian Thomann has not only assumed the function of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bereuter Group as of January 1, 2021, but also the management of Bereuter Holding AG. In these functions, he succeeds sole shareholder Marco Bereuter, who has led the Group as managing owner since 2001.

Thomann joined the company in March 2015 as Managing Director of Bereuter Baugrubentechnik AG, and in August 2018 he became a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to that, the 44-year-old civil engineer worked as a construction foreman and as deputy head of the construction services department of a civil engineering company based in the canton of Zurich.

Marco Bereuter had taken over all shares of the family business from his father Heinrich Bereuter in 2001. Bereuter AG at that time employed 80 people and had a turnover of CHF 25 million. In the period that followed, Bereuter, together with Hans-Peter Fritsche, from whom he now takes over as Chairman of the Board of Directors, successively expanded the business activities. Today, the group has 220 employees and annual sales of around 60 million. In addition to the CEO position, the 55-year-old Bereuter has also relinquished the management of Bereuter Bau AG. He will continue to manage the Group's non-operational divisions and Bereuter Totalunternehmung AG. The ownership structure remains unchanged.
