HIG makes acquisitions in Zurich and Lausanne

HIG Immobilien Anlage Stiftung has expanded its portfolio by acquiring properties in Zurich and Lausanne.

As of January 1, 2021, HIG Immobilien Anlage Stiftung acquired two connected buildings with apartments and commercial space in Zurich Altstetten. In addition, HIG was able to expand its portfolio with a new construction project in the city of Lausanne as of January 6.

HIG Immobilien Anlage Stiftung's newest addition to the city of Zurich is prominently located just across from Lindenplatz in Altstetten. The light blue building on the corner of Badenerstrasse and Segnesstrasse comprises 53 residential units and 3,800 sqm of commercial space. The main tenants are Swisscom and UBS, which operates an office on the first floor.

Furthermore, the conditional purchase agreement for a new construction project in the city of Lausanne was executed on January 6 after obtaining the legally binding building permit. The project in the Mousquines/Bellevue district comprises 23 rental apartments with a majority of 2.5 and 3.5 rooms. Completion and occupation are expected in around 22 months. (bw)
