UBS Foncipars seeks fresh money
The UBS Foncipars real estate fund is planning a capital increase in the order of CHF 132 million in the spring.

According to the fund management company UBS Fund Management Switzerland, the capital increase for the UBS (CH) Property Fund - Léman Residential "Foncipars" (UBS Foncipars) is to be carried out at the end of April or beginning of May 2021. The fund intends to use the additional funds of up to CHF 132 million to purchase properties, finance renovations and construction projects, and repay debt financing.
UBS Foncipars invests in residential properties in western Switzerland. The investments are mainly concentrated in the cities of Geneva and Lausanne and their agglomerations. As at the end of the first half of the year on 30 June 2020, the fund had a portfolio of 128 properties worth around 1.5 billion. (ah)
