Varia US Properties acquires in the USA
Varia US Properties has acquired three properties in Indianapolis.
Following the acquisition of Breckinridge in Louisville, Kentucky, last December, Varia US Properties AG said it has completed the reinvestment of the proceeds from the sale of the Cardinal portfolio; in addition, it has also used part of the proceeds from the December 2020 capital increase.
On January 27, the Zug-based company, which focuses exclusively on US multifamily properties, acquired a portfolio of three properties in Indianapolis, Indiana. The purchase price is stated at 87 million US dollars.
The new acquisition further strengthens Varia's presence in Indianapolis following the acquisition of Harrisson Point Apartments in October 2020, the real estate company says. It brings the number of apartments in that market to nearly 1,200 units. (bw)
