Swiss Life Fund invests in Lyon
Swiss Life REF (CH) European Properties has acquired an office property in Lyon and is planning a further capital increase in mid-2021.
The property in Lyon, the second largest business centre in France, is the "Le Solaris" office property with around 7,130 sqm of office space spread over seven upper floors. There are also 134 parking spaces on two basement floors. According to Swiss Life Asset Managers, the office space is currently fully let to 15 companies from various sectors with an average lease term (WAULT) of 3.8 years.
With the acquisition, which was made in November 2020, Swiss Life REF (CH) European Properties has reached total fund assets of just under EUR 590 million. The portfolio consists of 16 core properties in nine countries. To finance further growth, Swiss Life Asset Managers is planning a capital increase for the fund in summer 2021. It already has an attractive deal pipeline in Germany, including the completion of a residential project in Oldenburg. (ah)
