Fundamenta invests in Leipzig
Fundamenta Group has acquired a residential project in Leipzig for its FG Wohninvest fund. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter.
The Becker³ residential project is located in the west of Leipzig. The project developer AOC Immobilien AG will build the three-part residential complex with a total of 100 residential units on a rentable area of approximately 7,700 sqm as well as 53 underground parking spaces and six outdoor parking spaces from the first quarter of 2021. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2022. According to the information, the quarter will be handed over turnkey and equipped with high-quality fitted kitchens.
Fundamenta Group Deutschland's real estate fund FG Wohninvest Deutschland bought the project in a forward deal. "The Becker³ project in the heart of the up-and-coming Neulindenau district responds to the still enormous demand for modern residential space in eastern Germany's largest city," says Christian Paul, CEO of Fundamenta Group Deutschland.
The parties did not provide any information on the purchase price. (ah)
