Thorsten Arsan will take up his position as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board no later than September 1, 2021, residential real estate investor Peach Property announced. The current CFO Dr. Marcel Kucher will leave the company "by best mutual agreement" after the Annual General Meeting at the end of May 2021.

Arsan (German citizen, 46 years old) has been working in the German residential real estate industry for almost 20 years, currently as Senior Vice President for Finance, Controlling, Investor Relations and M&A at the listed German residential real estate company Adler Group. Previously, he spent eight years as Head of Corporate Finance and Deputy Head of Finance & Treasury at Vonovia SE; the DAX-listed residential real estate group holds 415,000 apartments in Germany, Austria and Sweden.

As CFO at Peach Property Group, Arsan's primary focus will be on equity and debt capital markets activities to support the company's continued growth and increase profitability, Peach says. In particular, the company aims to reduce financing costs and align the group's capital structure with its expected growth trajectory. (ah)
