Investis: Riccardo Boscardin withdraws from BoD
Riccardo Boscardin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Investis Holding since 2016, is no longer available for re-election. At the 2021 Annual General Meeting, Thomas Vettiger is therefore to be elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and Christian Gellerstad as a new member of the Board.
The Board of Directors of Investis Holding will propose Christian Gellerstad as a new non-executive member of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting on April 27, 2021, the company announced. The nomination is part of the succession plan for Riccardo Boscardin, who will leave the Board of Directors on the same date after five years. He had informed the Board of Directors that he was no longer available for re-election. At the same time, Thomas Vettiger will be proposed to the Annual General Meeting as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Boscardin has served as chairman of the board since 2016, guiding Investis through a period of strong organic growth - including an IPO. He is handing over the reins at a time when Investis is in a very solid position and has promising prospects, the company said.
The new board member to be elected, Christian Gellerstad, serves as an independent board member. The 52-year-old holds a degree in business administration and economics (HSG St. Gallen); he is considered an expert in the financial services industry and has in-depth knowledge in the field of digitalization, according to Investis. Gellerstad held various senior positions at Banque Pictet in Switzerland and abroad for more than 20 years. Since 2019, he has been a non-executive board member of Credit Suisse, among others.
