No information is available on the purchase price. BR Bauhandel AG will remain a long-term tenant at all three locations with its Richner and Baubedarf brands, according to Hiag. The acquisition will add around 40,000 sqm of usable space to the development pipeline.

The asset deal includes two properties in Winterthur with approximately 10,000 sqm and 6,000 sqm of land, a property in Solothurn with approximately 29,000 sqm and currently 13,000 sqm of usable space, as well as a property in Reinach (BL), which has approximately 4,500 sqm of rental space on a building lease area of approximately 6,500 sqm. A right of first refusal exists for this property, which can be exercised within six months.

Hiag intends to start developing the newly acquired sites immediately after the acquisition. (bw)
