Patrimonium Investment Foundation cracks billion mark

The investment assets of Patrimonium Investment Foundation exceeded the CHF 1 billion mark for the first time in the past financial year. At the same time, the number of investors also increased, according to Patrimonium.

Patrimonium reports that its two investment groups, Residential Real Estate Switzerland and Healthcare Real Estate Switzerland, generated investment returns of 6.3% (residential real estate) and 5% (healthcare real estate) in fiscal 2020.

The assets of the Residential Real Estate Switzerland investment group grew by 68 million to 712 million in 2020. The portfolio was expanded to 60 properties with the purchase of existing properties and a new construction project for student apartments in Kriens. The three new construction projects in Crissier (Oassis), Basel (Citygate) and Lugano-Pazzallo (Residenza verde) are almost fully leased, according to Patrimonium, raising the portfolio ratio to 98%.

According to Patrimonium, the investment assets of the Swiss healthcare real estate investment group increased by 35 million to 313 million last year. In 2020, the investment group acquired a plot of land with a new construction project for the creation of retirement apartments and a healthcare center in Orbe (VD); the total investment after completion is estimated at around 37 million.
