Fundamenta Real Estate: Successful capital increase
Fundamenta Real Estate reports the successful completion of its latest capital increase. The placement of all new shares brought approximately CHF 88.5 million into the company's coffers.
The capital increase included the offering of 5,010,472 new shares at a subscription and placement price of CHF 18.35. Due to the exercise of subscription rights and the partial firm underwritings, all new shares were subscribed by existing investors, Fundamenta reports. Due to the strong demand, no further allotments were made in the free placement. The market capitalization is now well above CHF 500 million.
The company intends to use the net proceeds of around CH 88.5 million for developments in the portfolio (repositioning, modernization and investments as part of the defined sustainability strategy), for the realization of ongoing developments, for the acquisition of further real estate assets in accordance with the investment regulations and to strengthen the balance sheet structure.
