Akara Diversity PK raises 143 million
The Akara Diversity PK received new funds of CHF 143.08 million as part of its recent capital increase.
Akara Funds AG announced that the seventh capital increase for the Akara Diversity PK (Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund PK) was oversubscribed. The issue price was CHF 1,131 net per unit, with a total of CHF 143.08 million going into the ownership of the fund. Eleven investors were newly admitted, Akara added. As a result, 134 investors now hold a total of around 1.16 million fund units.
Karl Theiler, CEO of Akara Funds, says the high response to the capital increase confirms the company in its investment strategy. He says the company is confident that it will be able to offer a new investment opportunity in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The new shares will be paid on June 25, 2021, and the fund intends to use the proceeds to finance upcoming real estate projects and invest in real estate assets throughout Switzerland.
Akara Diversity PK, launched in 2016, invests in existing properties as well as in development and construction projects with residential and commercial uses. The properties are mainly held directly. (ah)
