Realstone residential real estate Switzerland grows to 158 million

The Realstone Residential Real Estate Switzerland investment group has acquired two properties in the canton of Fribourg worth CHF 48 million. The portfolio launched in March 2020 now has a volume of CHF 157.6 million.

The first of the two properties is located at 5-7 Route Mon-Repos in the Schönberg district of the city of Freiburg. The mixed-use building dates from 1990 and comprises 50 apartments (1 to 5 rooms), nine ground-floor retail units, including a national retailer, as well as a public car park with 50 spaces and a private car park with 41 spaces. According to the Realstone Investment Foundation, the market value is estimated at CHF 25 million.

The second property is a residential building built in 1990 at Route du Mont Carmel 9-17 in Givisiez in the Fribourg region. It has 54 apartments (1 to 6.5 rooms) and 88 parking spaces, 55 of which are covered. The market value is estimated at CHF 23 million, writes the Realstone Investment Foundation.

On 1 May, the real estate was contributed in kind by a pension fund to the RIRS investment group; in exchange, the Foundation transferred shares in the investment group in the corresponding amount to the pension fund. (ah)
