Implenia sells Austrian division
Implenia has sold its Equipment and Technology Services (ETS) business in Austria to Site Log Infra, a subsidiary of the German Zech Group.
The sale of the ETS division is a further step in the strategy of focusing on the core business, Implenia announced on Friday. Site Log Infra is taking over 14 employees, all machinery and equipment as well as the existing lease agreement for the property. The takeover was completed the day before, so that SiteLog Infra has operational responsibility for the business with immediate effect.
Site Log Infra is a provider of construction logistics and site infrastructure operating in the DACH region as well as in Denmark. The company is a long-standing customer of the ETS division in Austria.
In the future, Implenia intends to focus on construction and real estate services in Switzerland and Germany and offer tunneling and related infrastructure projects in other markets. Supporting services such as those provided by ETS Austria will in future increasingly be procured from external partners. (ah)
