New Chairman of the Board of Fundamenta
Urs Gauch, currently a member of the Executive Board of Raiffeisen Switzerland, has been elected to the Board of Fundamenta Group Holding. He is to succeed David Garcia as Chairman of the Board.

The Annual General Meeting of Fundamenta Group Holding AG has elected Urs Gauch as a member of the Board of Directors effective July 2, 2021. Gauch has been with Raiffeisen Switzerland since 2015: He is a member of the Executive Board, heads the Raiffeisen Group's corporate banking business and manages its six branches. Prior to that, Gauch worked for Credit Suisse for many years in various management positions, including Managing Director.
Gauch will leave Raiffeisen at the end of 2021, and in January 2022 he will replace David Garcia as chairman of Fundamenta's board of directors, the real estate company says. After handing over the chairmanship to Urs Gauch, company founder Garcia will be a member of the board of directors and will then primarily "provide impetus for strategic further development and important projects," Fundamenta adds.
With Gauch, the board of directors will be strengthened by a "proven financial expert with an impressive track record in the banking sector and especially in corporate banking," Garcia said. With his addition, the expansion of Fundamenta Group will accelerate, he is convinced. (ah)
