Migros: Three club school locations to close
Migros will close its club schools in Biel, Wohlen and Zofingen at the end of the year. The reason for this is the reduced demand for face-to-face courses, which has been exacerbated by the Corona pandemic.
In the education market, demand for digital offerings is increasing, while face-to-face instruction is significantly less in demand, Migros writes in a statement. For this reason, the club school will concentrate on the locations Aarau, Baden, Bern, Olten, Solothurn and Thun in the catchment area of Migros Aare from next year. In addition, the online offering is to be further expanded.
The club school locations at Unionsgasse 13 in Biel, Bahnhofstrasse 9 in Wohlen (AG) and Hintere Hauptgasse 3 in Zofingen (AG) will close at the end of 2021, Migros announces. There are currently 49 club schools throughout Switzerland. (ah)
