Swisscanto: Responsible Swiss Commercial raises almost 50 million
The real estate fund Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Responsible Swiss Commercial received CHF 49.7 million in its capital increase. According to Swisscanto, the issue was fully subscribed.
As part of the capital increase carried out from 30 September to 11 October 2021, investors were able to subscribe to new units at an issue price of CHF 104.99 each, with a subscription ratio of 10:1. According to Swisscanto, the subscription quota was 100%, illustrating the great interest of investors. The new units were paid up on 12 October; there are now 5.2 million fund units in circulation.
The capital increase has laid the foundation for the continuation of the responsible growth course of the Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Responsible Swiss Commercial, Swisscanto continues. The fund has an attractive investment pipeline with which the existing portfolio is to be expanded in line with the strategy. The proceeds from the issue are to be used to finance existing obligations and repay borrowed capital.
The Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Responsible Swiss Commercial was launched in August 2010 and invests in commercial properties in all market regions of Switzerland, positioning itself in the Core/Coreplus segment. The fund portfolio comprises 25 properties in good locations with a market value of 675 million (as at 30 June 2021). (ah)
