W. Schmid Group: New market presence of the developer
The W. Schmid Group has changed its name to WSG. The new company name applies to all ventures of the real estate developer.
According to the W. Schmid Group, the business model, competencies and corporate culture have been successively adapted over a longer period of time, and now the next step is a "makeover" of the market presence. Since September, the company has been operating exclusively under the name WSG; the old name has been completely discarded.
In 1966, in Glattbrugg near Zurich, the construction company W. Schmid & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft AG was founded, from which today's WSG emerged. The company operates in German-speaking Switzerland and employs around 70 people at its sites in Basel, Zurich and Zug. Since its foundation 55 years ago, WSG says it has been responsible for the construction of more than 10,000 homes.
