The Utilita Investment Foundation invests in residential properties throughout Switzerland that have a non-profit orientation and serve to promote affordable housing. According to Utilita, this includes, among other things, residential buildings with low-cost rents, special properties such as apartments for the elderly, students or cooperatives, as well as land that is sold under building rights.

The investment foundation intends to use the proceeds from the CHF 50 million capital increase for further growth, among other things. The portfolio is to be expanded with properties that have already been committed but are in final negotiations, Utilita says. The subscription period runs from 19 November to 20 December 2021; the target group is Swiss pension funds. (ah)
