Swiss Life Swiss Properties: Capital increase brings 300 million into the coffers

The Swiss Life REF (CH) Swiss Properties real estate fund has successfully completed its capital increase. It was able to raise the maximum amount of CHF 300 million.

Swiss Life Asset Managers announced that the capital increase for Swiss Life REF (CH) Swiss Properties was fully subscribed. The maximum number of 2.7 million units was issued at an issue price of CHF 113.50 per unit. The new units will be paid up on 16 December 2021, at which time 16.2 million units of the fund with net assets of CHF 1.8 billion will be in circulation.

As previously announced, the fund used the capital raised to finance the acquisition of a portfolio of 17 properties with a volume of around CHF 340 million. The fund now owns 153 properties with a market value of around CHF 2.34 billion, making it one of the ten largest listed Swiss real estate funds. (ah)
