Terra Helvetica seeks fresh money
The Terra Helvetica investment foundation announces a capital increase of up to CHF 100 million for its Swiss residential investment group in the coming year.

The Terra Helvetica Investment Foundation was established in April 2020 and launched the Residential Switzerland investment group in December 2020. The own funds of currently CHF 84 million have been invested in a sustainable, as-new or new residential real estate portfolio, the investment foundation says. According to the information, the portfolio of the investment group comprises eleven properties in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with a residential share of 98% and has an asset value of approx. 82 million. The vacancy rate is below 3%. According to Terra Helvetica, the portfolio currently has a gross yield of over 4.4%.
Now the investment group is to grow further, which is why the investment foundation is planning an issue with a maximum volume of CHF 100 million. The subscription period will run from 21 February to 25 March 2022, the issue price is CHF 1,040 with a minimum subscription volume of CHF 100,000. Payment is planned for 4 April, with a maximum of two further payments.
The funds from the capital increase will be used for "various pending property acquisitions in eastern and northwestern Switzerland as well as for working through an interesting property pipeline", Terra Helvetica announced. The Swiss residential investment group focuses on refurbished or new, well-let properties with affordable rents that are included in the SSREI sustainability index. (ah)
