The new addition to the ESG European Thematic Income & Growth (TIGR) portfolio is a logistics property between Utrecht and Arnhem built in 2019. The seller of the property is a subsidiary of Arbon Holding, which was advised by Colliers. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price, Swiss Life AM said.

The property at Utrechtsestraatweg 230 in Rhenen has 19,240 sqm of rental space, which is fully leased to six companies. The logistics property is characterized by a positive energy balance and is therefore also convincing from an ESG perspective, according to the asset manager. The share of renewable energy amounts to around 120% due to a photovoltaic system on the roof and a heat pump.

This is the first purchase of a logistics property for a Swiss Life fund in the Netherlands, the asset manager adds. Further transactions are to follow. (ah)
