New addition to the Novavest Board of Directors
Floriana Scarlato is to be elected to the Board of Directors of Novavest Real Estate. She worked for Credit Suisse for many years, most recently as compliance officer.
Floriana Scarlato (born 1977) worked for Credit Suisse for a total of 16 years, during which time she built up a global compliance organization in the International Wealth Management division and headed the Cross Border & Client Confidentiality unit in Private Banking. Between 2013 and 2015, she was Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management Business Risk Management. From 2016 to 2021, she served as Chief Compliance Officer of the International Wealth Management Division and Chief Compliance Officer of the Swiss Universal Bank of Credit Suisse Schweiz AG. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse Italy and a member of the Supervisory Board of Credit Suisse Germany.
Scarlato is to be elected as an independent and non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Novavest Real Estate AG at the Annual General Meeting on March 23, 2022, the Board of Directors of Novavest Real Estate AG proposes. In the opinion of Chairman Gian Reto Lazzarini, she ideally complements the Board with her experience in the field of compliance and risk management.
The Novavest Board of Directors also plans to introduce an Audit Committee as of April 1, 2022, which will include Floriana Scarlato and Stefan Hiestand. (ah)
