ISS Switzerland keeps sales stable
The facility management company ISS Switzerland reports sales of CHF 757.4 million for 2021. Despite the sale of a subsidiary, the figure thus remains at the previous year's level.
ISS Switzerland generates most of its sales (44%) in the cleaning business (maintenance, special cleaning, cleanroom), followed by Property Services, which includes building services, data center operation and construction project management. Property Services contributed 37% to sales last year (previous year: 42%). The decline was related to the sale of subsidiary ISS Kanal Services AG, which still contributed about CHF50 million to annual results in 2020, ISS Switzerland said. Despite the sale, the company generated revenue of CHF757.4 million in 2021, down 0.2% from the previous year.
As CEO André Nauer says, ISS Switzerland wants to focus more on the areas of Workplace Solutions, Energy Management, Health & Safety, Critical Environment and Food Solutions. "This is where we can and want to grow in the future." Closer cooperation with the other country organizations and the Group is also planned, among other things to standardize and simplify processes.
