Decline in earnings at Admicasa
Admicasa Holding posted a lower result in 2021 compared to the previous year. The Board of Directors is nevertheless satisfied with the management of the pandemic years.

Thanks in particular to von Gunten Baumanagement AG, which was acquired in 2020, Admicasa Holding AG increased net sales from deliveries and services to CHF 16.4 million in the 2021 financial year (previous year: CHF 12.2 million). Operating income increased from 13.55 million to 17.40 million in the reporting period. At the same time, operating expenses also increased: they climbed from 10.98 million to 15.79 million. According to Admicasa, this was mainly due to higher costs for material expenses and third-party services of suppliers, which were related to various total contractor projects.
Operating profit (EBIT) came to 1.61 million in 2021, compared with 2.57 million in the previous year. Earnings before taxes decreased to 1.47 million (previous year: 2.64 million). Net income for the year amounted to 1.14 million, compared with 1.98 million in 2020. As the real estate company further reports, the second half of 2021 was more profitable than the first half: EBIT and net income in the second half of the year were significantly higher than in the first half.
Overall, Admicasa sees itself well on the way to achieving its goal of becoming a "one-stop store" and offering all services related to the life cycle of a property. In 2021, the holding company acquired a stake in the Zurich-based investment boutique Artemon Project Finance. Artemon supports development projects in the real estate sector that need a complement to conventional bank financing. (ah)
