UBS announces that the capital increase for the UBS Swissreal fund has been fully placed. The fund has thus received new funds of around CHF 111 million. A large part of the issue proceeds will be used for four projects: The purchase of a commercial property on Lagerstrasse in Dietikon (investment volume CHF 54 million), the construction of a new commercial property on Güterstrasse in Muttenz (investment volume CHF 30 million), as well as the renovation of a commercial property on Avenue Villamont in Lausanne (CHF 7 million) and a mixed-use property on Route de Berne, also in Lausanne (CHF 20 million).

The fund intends to use the remaining funds to purchase additional properties, finance refurbishments and construction projects, and repay debt financing. UBS Swissreal currently holds a portfolio of 81 properties with a volume of CHF 2.1 billion. (ah)
