Epic Suisse completes IPO
Shares of Epic Suisse traded on the SIX Swiss Exchange for the first time on May 25. The opening price was CHF 68 and the closing price on the first trading day was CHF 66.90.
Epic Suisse AG, another real estate company, has been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since May 25. The commercial real estate company complements the "Standard for Real Estate Companies"; 18 companies are now listed here.
The issue price of the shares was CHF 68, at the lower end of the range set by Epic Suisse between CHF 67 and CHF 77. The base offering consisted of approximately 2.69 million newly issued registered shares of the Company with a par value of CHF 0.04 each. The placement volume was CHF 183 million.
The opening price was CHF 68.00, but the closing price on the first trading day was below cost: it reached CHF 66.90, giving Epic a market capitalization of CHF 681 million. (ah)
