EdR REIM establishes joint venture in Germany
Edmond de Rothschild REIM is entering the German residential real estate market. To this end, the asset manager establishes a joint venture with Fundament Advisory.

Edmond de Rothschild REIM (EdR REIM) and Germany-based asset manager Fundament Advisory have formed a joint venture, EdR REIM Fundament, to invest in German residential properties. The focus is on traditional residential properties as well as mixed-use properties and assisted and modern forms of residential use throughout Germany, EdR REIM says. Different strategies are being pursued: from holding and upgrading to the sale of individual apartments. The joint venture focuses on growth locations with positive macroeconomic data.
Fundament Advisory contributes assets under management to the joint venture, comprising 3,000 units in almost 100 properties in Berlin and Munich with a total value of over 500 million euros. EdR REIM manages a total volume of the equivalent of €3.2 billion in the residential sector in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The managing partner of the joint venture is Ben Lehrecke, and the management team also includes Philipp Lintner and Carsten Kreuels. The joint venture has offices in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin. (ah)
