The Comunus SICAV real estate fund was launched in 2013 by Marc Henri Beausire, CEO of Airesis, and invests primarily in residential properties in western Switzerland. Total assets amount to CHF 407 million, and last year the fund achieved a performance of 12%, according to Airesis.

Now Airesis wants to divest its 40% stake in Comunus in order to focus on its main activities. The group's brand portfolio includes the sports brands Le Coq Sportif and Movement Group. According to the investment company, the purchase price amounts to approximately CHF 10 million and is expected to result in a capital gain of CHF 9.3 million for Airesis. The sale is expected to be completed before the end of June 2022. (ah)
