SF Urban Properties AG recorded an increase in net asset value (NAV) due to an appreciation of its real estate portfolio and interest rate hedges as of June 30, 2022, the real estate company wrote in an ad hoc release.

According to preliminary, unaudited figures, a like-for-like change in value of the yield portfolio before investments of CHF 17.8 million was recorded in the first half of 2022, representing an appreciation of 2.5 percent compared with December 31, 2021, the company said.

In addition, the portfolio of interest rate hedges had undergone a positive adjustment of CHF 27.7 million based on the interest rate developments in the first half of 2022 according to the preliminary valuation. It thus increased from CHF -24.3 million to CHF +3.4 million. This effect has only a minor impact on net income, but increases equity in the context of the statement of comprehensive income, SF Urban Properties further announces. In addition, the company benefits from a relatively high average fixed interest rate of currently 6.9 years.

SF Urban Properties will publish its results for the first half of 2022 on August 24, 2022. (ah)
