Valiant Bank remains on expansion course
Valiant Bank recently opened two new branches in Wädenswil and Pully, with three more new openings to follow this year.

According to the bank, the new Valiant branch in Wädenswil is the third branch in the canton of Zurich, and the location in Pully is the largest in French-speaking Switzerland. Later this year, new branches in Winterthur, Meilen and Uster will further expand the network.
Valiant goes on to say that a total of 14 additional branches will be opened between 2020 and 2024, particularly in eastern Switzerland, the canton of Zurich and western Switzerland. At the beginning of the year, however, the bank had also announced that it would be closing a total of 23 branches in its home territory. These were branches that were close to another branch, Valiant announced at the time.
In the first half of 2022, the bank reported a net profit of CHF 62 million, an increase of 1.3 percent compared to the previous year. Operating income increased by 5.1 percent to CHF 222 million, and operating profit rose by 2.3 percent to CHF 75.8 million.
