The index comprises 25 companies and is one of the most important sustainability indices in Switzerland. Inclusion is based on membership of the SMI Expanded Index and the highest possible sustainability rating from Inrate, the rating provider defined by SIX Swiss Exchange. This is based on more than 100 quantitative and qualitative factors. "In particular, we are proud to be the first representative of our industry and to rank 7th among the leading 25 companies in the sustainability index of the Swiss Stock Exchange," says René Zahnd, CEO of Swiss Prime Site (SPS).

SPS aims to achieve carbon neutrality in its portfolio of around 180 properties and 1.7 million sqm of floor space by 2040. In addition, around 75% of the portfolio's space is to have a Breeam In-use certificate by the end of 2022. (aw)
