The joint venture company of Swiss Life Asset Managers is planning a logistics property with a rental area of more than 23,000 sqm on the site in Pönitz, which is ready for construction. Construction is scheduled to begin this year and be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2023. "With this new location, we are not only serving the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics real estate in the emerging logistics triangle of Leipzig-Zwickau-Chemnitz, but it also fits perfectly into our investment strategy together with Swiss Life Asset Managers," says Ingo Steves, Managing Partner Beos Logistics.

Most of the planned rental space in Pönitz will be taken up by logistics space, while an additional 1,400 sqm of mezzanine space and 1,000 sqm of social and office space will be available. The modern building will be flexible in use and can be divided into two units of more than 11,000 sqm each. (aw)
