In view of the difficult market environment, the capital increase for Immofonds suburban did not go as expected. New funds of CHF 8 million flowed into the fund, the fund management announces. 74,850 new units were issued at a subscription price of CHF 106.50 net, so that 474,850 fund units will be in circulation in the future. Originally, the issue was expected to raise a volume of up to CHF 42.6 million.

The fund management intends to use the fresh money for the further expansion of the real estate portfolio, it says. In particular, two already connected residential properties will be acquired with it.

Immofonds suburban was launched at the end of 2021 and invests primarily in residential properties outside the major centers, focusing on the Lake Constance region, Central Switzerland, the Three Lakes region, the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, Valais and Ticino. Over the next few years, the portfolio is expected to reach a value of CHF 1 billion. (ah)
