Investment Foundation 1291 remains on growth track

The Real Estate Switzerland investment group of 1291 Swiss Investment Foundation has received funds in the double-digit millions since the summer, which it intends to use to expand its portfolio.

1291 The Swiss Investment Foundation has raised additional capital for its Swiss real estate investment group from existing and new investors. As the investment foundation reports, the investment group has received a total of CHF 83.4 million in new funds since July in the current 2022/2023 financial year. It has thus clearly missed its target, to raise up to CHF 250 million through its capital increase.  In the release, 1291 refers to a "very challenging market environment in the capital and financial markets."

The money is to be used for the further expansion of the real estate portfolio. The investment group invests primarily in properties with residential use and intends to expand its portfolio "with attractive acquisition properties and high-quality properties in interesting locations," according to a statement. As of October 31, 2022, the investment group's portfolio value was CHF 1.36 billion. (ah)
