Plazza expects lower revaluation result
In 2021, the real estate company still recorded a profit from revaluations of almost CHF 73 million; now it is expecting a loss of CHF 9 million.
Plazza expects operating income before depreciation and revaluation to be at the previous year's level of around CHF 20 million in fiscal year 2022. The operating business has developed in a stable manner and the focus on residential properties in the mid-price segment in locations close to city centers is proving to be a guarantee for stability and continuity, the real estate company writes in an ad hoc release.
However, the company expects a significant decline in revaluation income: it will be CHF 9 million for the full year 2022, mainly from the first half of the year, Plazza informs. In fiscal 2021, the company had posted a jump in profits to CHF 71.9 million thanks to a revaluation gain of CHF 72.8 million.
Plazza will publish its 2022 annual report with detailed results on March 8, 2023. (ah)
