ZIF Immobilien Direkt wants to go public

The fund management reserves the right to withdraw the project if market conditions do not play along. Until listing, only qualified investors under the Federal Act on Collective Investment Schemes (CISA) can invest in the fund. After listing, it would be open to all investors. With the SIX listing, the fund is also expected to be included in the "SXI Real Estate Broad" and "SXI Real Estate Funds Broad" indices, Zurich Invest said.

The fund invests primarily in existing properties throughout Switzerland. The properties in the portfolio are mostly located in major Swiss cities or their agglomerations. Over 80% is in residential use. The fund is currently traded over-the-counter by Bank J. Safra Sarasin. (aw)
