UBS Direct Urban increases rental income

In the first half of 2022/23, the UBS Direct Urban real estate fund posted rental income of over CHF 10 million. However, total income was more than CHF 1 million below the previous year's figure.

The UBS Direct Urban fund generated rental income of CHF 10.7 million in the first half of fiscal year 2022/23, CHF 0.7 million or 8.1% more than in the same period last year. The rent default rate was 5.4%, down 1.3 percentage points year-on-year. This is according to the real estate fund's half-year report.

At the end of 2022, the portfolio consisted of 23 properties in eleven cantons with a market value of around CHF 590 million.

Total comprehensive income for the first half of the year was CHF5.9 million - compared to CHF7.04 million in the first half of 2021/22. The EBIT margin decreased from 69.1% to 68.2% and the return on equity (ROE) decreased from 1.7% to 1.4%. (ah)
