Hälg Group generates sales of 316 million
Construction services provider Hälg has kept sales constant in 2022, even though its subsidiary Vadea was spun off into independence. The number of employees fell from 1,117 to 1,057 due to the spin-off.
The independence of the engineering company Vadea took effect on July 1, 2022. The subsidiary had been formed in 2017 from the merger of the then Hälg Engineering and Brunner Haustechnik AG. Since then, the engineering company has grown strongly, Hälg Group said. The independence gives Vadea AG more scope for development and the Hälg Group more strategic leeway for the plant engineering business field. As new members of the board of directors, Martin Kaufmann and Markus Schmalz took over the top management of the company and Marc Iten the chairmanship of the executive board.
Despite the disposal, Hälg Group sales increased from CH 315 million to CHF 315.7 million. Three company acquisitions also contributed to this, namely those of Simeon Haustechnik, Etavis Facility Services and Gygli+Partner. In the "Service" and "Facility Management" business units, the contract business was also further expanded and an additional facility management site was opened in Rotkreuz as of January 1. (aw)
