Fortimo with lower sales in 2022
The revenue generated by Fortimo as a Group in 2022 decreased from CHF 202 million to CHF 161 million. However, equity increased from CHF 524 million to CHF 563 million.
The properties held in the Fortimo portfolio are valued at CHF 1.398 billion at the end of 2022 (PY: CHF 1.337 billion). The equity ratio now amounts to 37.3% (prior year: 36.6%).
The St. Gallen-based company speaks of a "stabilizing consolidation phase" after years of growth. Demand for owner-occupied homes had declined somewhat due to more expensive refinancing, while rental apartments remained very popular.
"Fortimo continues to look to the future with optimism," the real estate company writes. The strategy of diversification into development, investment properties and tourism has proven successful. (aw)
