Akara Diversity PK to raise 50 million

In May, the real estate fund Akara Diversity PK carries out a capital increase, targeting a volume of CHF 50 million.

Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund PK announces its eleventh capital increase in May. The subscription period runs from May 8 to 26, the payment is planned for June 9. According to Swiss Prime Site Solutions, the issue volume is expected to be "approximately CHF 50 million".

The proceeds will be used to finance upcoming real estate projects and to invest in Swiss real estate assets. At the same time, the investor base is to be expanded. The fund's development pipeline is CHF 297 million until the end of 2028, Swiss Prime Site Solutions adds. A total of 730 apartments and just under 6,200 sqm of commercial space are planned, it said.

Equity increased by over 180 million in 2022

In FY2022, Akara Diversity PK completed two capital increases, raising CHF182 million in new equity. According to Swiss Prime Site Solutions, the investor base has increased by more than 20%, with 37 new investors.

The investment return in 2022 is put at 3.25%, the distribution return was 3.02%. The distribution is CHF 34.50 per unit.

Rental income rises by more than one fifth

Total assets increased by 13% to CHF 2.6 billion in FY2022. Rental income increased to CHF72 million, up 21%. The rental default rate was 5.33%.

The portfolio of Akara Diversity PK consists of 149 existing properties and eleven construction projects, the residential portion amounts to 53%. In fiscal year 2022, the fund acquired 17 properties and one parcel of building land with a total value of CHF 199 million. (ah)
