Swiss Estates: Significant increase in rental income in 2022

According to preliminary figures, the annual profit of Swiss Estates AG fell by 7.6% to CHF 7.9 million in the 2022 financial year. Real estate income, on the other hand, increased.

Due to the reduction of Covid 19-related vacancies, net property income excluding new acquisitions increased by 12.9% to CHF 6.15 million, according to Swiss Estates. Properties were on the books at year-end with total market values of CHF188.56 million, an increase of 13.0%.

The figure for Ebitda, on the other hand, fell by 7.9% to CHF 11.98 million. Net asset value (NAV) also recorded a decline, by 2.8% to CHF 15.05. Equity after deferred taxes increased by 13.4% to CHF 59.15 million, so that the equity ratio rose by 1.0% to 30.9%, although mortgage liabilities also showed an increase, namely by 10.3% to CHF 116.43 million.
