Cronos buys in Lausanne and Romont

The Cronos Immo Fund acquired two new residential buildings in Lausanne (VD) and Romont (FR) in the second quarter.

The Cronos Immo Fund's first purchase is the Jolimont 8 residential building in Lausanne, in a central location close to the university hospital. The property reportedly offers an attractive rental reserve. The second transaction concerns the new building Chemin des Terrassettes 7 in Romont (FR). It is located in the immediate vicinity of the train station and comprises apartments with terraces. Over 95 % of the apartments have been let. According to Cronos, one of the two transactions was made in return for a contribution in kind.

The fund sold a residential building in Belp (BE), Bantigerweg 1-3, on July 1. The properties in Renens, Rue de l'Avenir 27, Vevey, Boulevard Paderewski 10, Yens (VD), Grand-Rue 40-44, on September 1 and the Grubenstrasse 2 property in Urtenen-Schönbühl (BE) will also be sold on September 30.

The property in Paudex (VD), Route de Simplon 22, had already been sold at the beginning of the financial year. According to the fund management, the transactions will lead to a capital gain. The fund also announces that a construction project for a mixed-use building in Kerzers (FR) has been acquired. This is a forward sale with planned completion at the end of the first half of 2025.
