Themis Real Estate SICAV launches
The subscription period has begun for Themis Real Estate SICAV, a fund specializing in residential real estate in western Switzerland. Nine properties form the initial portfolio.
Themis Real Estate SICAV is being launched these days. The subscription period for the collective investment under Swiss law begins on September 20, with a target volume of CHF 50 million to CHF 60 million. The payment is scheduled to take place on November 3. The capital raised will be used to acquire nine existing properties - mainly residential real estate and located in western Switzerland - with a value of around CHF 66.03 million.
According to its own statements, the fund aims to reach a volume of CHF 200 million by the end of 2024 through off-market transactions, rapid transaction processing and opportunistic selection. The vehicle is managed by Themis Capital SA, which has been in existence since August 2020. The manager first announced plans to launch the SICAV back in November 2020 (IB reported). (aw)
