Real estate fund rounded off in Winterthur
The acquisition of an apartment building in Winterthur gives the Immofonds the prospect of developing a site.
The fund management of Immofonds purchased a residential property in Winterthur (ZH) at the end of September 2023. The apartment building is located at Mooswiesenweg 23, in the middle of the properties already held by Immofonds on Guggenbühlstrasse, Sonnenblickstrasse and Mooswiesenweg. According to a press release, the purchase of the property at Mooswiesenweg 23 opens up the possibility of developing the area in Oberwinterthur as a whole in the long term.
The newly acquired residential property was built in 1959 and has been partially renovated on an ongoing basis. It has a total rentable area of 1,152 sqm and has 18 apartments and nine parking spaces. The apartment mix includes six compact 2-, 3- and 4-room apartments. (aw)
